Are you an ambitious IT savvy sales professional seeking a new challenge? If so this could be the perfect role for you.  My client, a global market leader within the Telecomms industry is looking for an enthusiastic, IT passionate, sales professional to come on board and assist with driving new business.  Your role will be focused around developing new relationships with decision makers and creating new business opportunities. The successful candidate will be confident both client facing and phone based, determined to succeed, self-motivated and will be able to demonstrate a strong track record in delivering results. 
 
What you’ll be doing:
 
Identifying new sales leads
Researching the needs of the company and learning who makes decisions
Using provided organisation data, contacts and company intranet to target specific individuals
Contacting potential clients via email or phone to establish rapport & set-up meetings
Identify and grow opportunities within the account and collaborate with delivery teams to ensure growth attainment
Attending conferences, meetings & industry events
Generate own leads and build long-term, sustainable relationships with prospects
Develop plans to acquire new customer contacts, through direct sales techniques, cold calling, and/or business-to-business marketing visits
Assist in pre-sales activities, RFIs, RFPs, proactive proposals etc.
Contacting clients to inform them about new developments in the company’s products and related services
Focus on selling Product Suites like API Connect, Iot Glue, Repopro, etc. along with services
Assist in creating Powerpoint presentations and sale collaterals
Assist delivery team in developing quotes & proposals for sale  
Participate in negotiation with customer in person and by phone & email
Become established as the primary point of contact for the customer
Communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly product releases clearly to internal and external stakeholders
Develop strong, positive cross-organization relationships
Work alongside managers to establish business and sales development actions
Present sales, revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team
 
 
What Experience You’ll Need:
 
Proven sales track record within IT industry
Should have demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level
Keen learner with genuine interest & understanding of the upcoming market trends and awareness of the business world
Excellent Interpersonal, Listening, Communication, Articulation, Presentation, Negotiation and Analytical skills
Working knowledge of Telecom domain is desirable
Skills in prioritising & triaging obligations 
Self-motivated and self-driven
