  • Up to £80,000 Basic + a Fantastic Commission Structure
  • 6 Month Fixed Term Contract (likely to go perm)

My client is an extremely exciting and fast-growing SaaS business who have developed an incredible app to help Universities with Covid-19, from testing through to track and trace. When the new school year starts it would be incredible if their solution were already starting to make waves in the industry. For that reason, they need a Business Development Manager to start as soon as possible and help them take this software application and sell into Universities across the UK.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Building a database of Universities across the UK
  • Identifying, gathering contact details and making contact with decision makers within these universities
  • Building an accurate sales pipeline and communicating that remotely
  • Lead University leaders through successful onboarding & usage of our clients solutions using a consultative approach

What experience you’ll require:

  • Have at least 3 years’ experience in selling software, preferably Software as a Service
  • Have experience of selling solutions to Universities, preferably with contacts
  • Self-motivated – role is fully remote
  • Be able to demonstrate knowledge and experience of how the University sector works
  • Have a proven track record of exceeding substantial targets
  • Have exceptional work rate and energy
  • Be able to demonstrate a consultative selling approach
