Description

This is a brilliant opportunity for a talented key business development manager to join a thriving business that operates within the energy sector, a pioneer in their field, where you’ll play a key role in their continued success. What you’ll be doing

This is an business development manager role involving new business sales originating new business through a combination of proactive lead generation, building relationships with third parties, as a business development manager you will be responsible for meeting our targets for acquiring new B2B customers, using a number of channels to acquire these customers including cold calling, leveraging off existing client relationships and partnering with third parties including data handlers and asset managers, maximising sales opportunities in line with the overall B2B plan, maintaining strong relationships with your key clients, including sales calls, face to face meetings, proposal writing and account management. Integral to the role will be your ability to win new business pitches and take responsibility for the effective registration of new clients, develop existing as well as supporting the launch of new products and services through effective internal and external communications.

What experience you’ll need

You’ll be working within a fast paced environment which will call for the ability to self- manage a busy workload and diary whilst remaining motivated to achieve, experience of working within a B2B background, strong communication with ability to communicate to a senior level both internally and external, ability to develop relationships at a senior level and leverage added value from them, ability to think strategically and contribute to overall B2B strategy, strong networking and relationship building skills, Strong commercial acumen in relation to SME and large business.
