This is a fantastic opportunity for a Technology Sales Specialist to join my well established client who have been in business for over 30 years, and are one of the longest standing retailers of a global technology brand in the UK. What you’ll be doing
You’ll be proactively targeted within developing relationships within either the B2B or education sector, across a designated territory with a view to becoming their preferred technology provider, identifying key personnel, approaching them and seeking face to face meetings. You will also be explaining our clients’ entire range of services and solutions they provide, demonstrating core technologies.
Key to this role will be generating opportunities to provide system proposals/quotations, following up and closing the business. You’ll also identify potential marketing/event opportunities such as tech meets or technology days where you could further promote their services within the region.
What experience you’ll need
You’ll have excellent administration, verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage with all level of management and SLT, being able to quickly establish and maintain personal relationships. You will also have a friendly, confident personality, be well organised and possess good time management skills and have an understanding of the academic sector from either previous sales or working experience.
The right candidate will hold a good level of basic IT knowledge and have a passion for technology, also the ability to work alone and as part of a team with a desire to deliver an exemplary customer experience.
What you’ll get in return for your talents
In return for your talents you will receive a salary of between £21k to £25k (dependent on experience), a further OTE of £9k, plus Car allowance and various tech devices plus the opportunity to be trained directly by my client’s big brand training team.
