This is your chance to work for a multi-modal freight forwarder with a huge focus on the European market. My client based near Yate, is looking for a candidate that not only offer a great service to existing accounts but can be proactive in their approach to attracting new business and see missed opportunities. For this role you will need to successful in a fast paced work environment and create strong customer relationships.
What you’ll be doing:
Managing existing accounts.
Providing an outstanding customer service at all times and following up with clients where ever necessary.
Organising shipments across all modes of transport road, sea and air and following shipments along their consignment journey.
To identify missed sales opportunities and proactively upsell existing accounts.
Managing bookings across groupage, part load and FTL consignments.
To always keep business development in mind and spot new opportunities.
Liaising with other agents internally, internationally and worldwide.
Providing the most competitive pricing across the market whilst hitting your own targets.
What you’ll need:
Minimum of two years’ experience in forwarding across road, sea or air.
Minimum C grade GCSE qualification across English and Maths.
Experience of working with European road freight would be an advantage but not essential.
Clear communication skills both verbal and written.
Due to the location of the role you may require your own transport.
A naturally outgoing individual ready to go above and beyond for a customer and provide a great service.
A driven attitude to succeed with a strong work ethic.
