My client Based in the heart of Bristol, is a growing start-up with huge potential! This start-up has engineered the world’s first advanced medical device certified to prevent osteoporosis and have an exciting opportunity for an organised and conscientious Sales Manager to join their growing team. Strategic and professional, you will provide exceptional support and advice alongside processing clients orders and managing bone health related queries. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to business development and have a genuine interest in the growth of the company.

What you’ll be doing

  • Offer expert technical advice and guidance on the medical device and related bone health matters
  • Provide quotes, proactively handle queries, and identify sales opportunities to promote our services and products
  • Take responsibility for overall sales strategy, tactics, plans and targets
  • Analyse sales activities, costs, and forecast data to determine progress towards set goals
  • Represent the business at conferences, trade, and networking events
  • Liaise confidently with clients in relation to orders, stock, and delivery requirements
  • Generate leads through networking and market research
  • Build strong relationships with customers and clients

What experience you’ll need to apply

  • You’re an experienced Sales Manager ideally from within the medical or pharmaceuticals sector
  • You are customer-focused and empathetic when dealing with sensitive topics
  • you are proactive and approachable
  • IT literate with a good understanding of Microsoft packages (Excel, Word, and Outlook) and will ensure that the necessary information is recorded accurately onto our CRM system (HubSpot)
  • You have great attention to detail and ensure accuracy at all times
  • You are a confident communicator who is able to liaise effectively with colleagues and clients
  • You thrive in a busy environment and will be quick to maximise potential sales whilst maintaining strong customer service skills
  • You are able to juggle a variety of tasks simultaneously and adapt to any sudden changes in the priorities, organising your own workload and working to our policies and procedures
