Who you’ll be working for
My client is an exciting start-up that is new to Bristol. They are a performance based company who provide targeted, well planned consumer traffic to ensure best possible results. They deal with data providers across the industry and generate leads, sales, branding through an array of on and offline media methods.
What you’ll be doing
In this role you’ll be developing new business across the UK through outbound activity, ensuring any sales opportunities are fully explored and converted, including resolving queries. You’ll be mapping organisations to identify revenue opportunities business needs, decision makers and influencers. You will also generate leads through networking, generating sales leads through internet search engines and different websites. You will present proposals and conduct face to face sales meetings with prospective clients.
Key to this role will be your fact finding of customer requirements, tailoring customised proposals of products, owning the production of documented responses to invitations to tender, in an effective and timely manner. You will identify market opportunities for new products, building a business case, and championing through the product.
The right candidate will also be planning to develop their own orders to execute in order to achieve financial objectives, also building and developing a network of customers and prospects of clients. You will have a clear understanding of future pipelines in reporting to managers and ensuring any opportunities to up sell TPL products are maximised by providing recommendations to new and existing customers. You may be required for other duties by the company if considers appropriate to your ability, including duties which would not normally be associated with your job title.
What experience you’ll need
You’ll need 2 years proven experience of developing and generating new business. You will be an articulate and confident communicator in negotiations and influencing. You will also need experience within the data/call centre sectors, telecommunications, media, and advertising of sales industry is essential.
You will also have good negation and presenting skills with strong verbal and written communication skills. You will have the ability to meet targets and deadlines with the ability to work on your own initiative as well as within a team. You will also be computer literate to intermediate level (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and strong familiarity web based tools such as LinkedIn.
What you’ll get in return for your talents
In return you can expect a basic salary of £25k – £35k depending on experience, a further £10k OTE, plus the opportunity to join an exciting star-up with great career opportunities.
