Due to expansion, we are on the hunt for a brand new lead generator sales person to join a well-established, proven and trusted IT Company based in Clevedon. You'll enjoy working within the business development team, and you’ll be the first lead generator within the company, which offers you fast career progression to build a sales team beneath you.  If first class sales training, full knowledge of the IT sector and excellent earning opportunities are high on your agenda we want to hear from you now!  

What you’ll be doing

This role is about creating interest in the products/services and to generate new business and arrange meetings with new clients as well as meeting up with existing clients. Your job will be to eventually identify and develop new business through networking and mainly understanding customer’s diverse, specific business needs and applying product knowledge to meet their needs. You'll work with all parts of the business including help desk, contributing to team, progress meetings/appointments, as well as sales.  

What experience you’ll need

Ideally you’ll have previous experience within a B2B sales role, if this has been gained within the IT/Technology sector all the better, however most important are exceptional customer service and organisational skills. Although the role is diverse with variety of help desk and appointments, you'll still need a strong head for achieving objectives and working towards targets given by the sales manager. You’ll also have strong communication skills with the confidence to make new business meetings across all levels of businesses within the area. The right candidate will also have strong commercial acumen, the ability to work well within a team as well as individually and finally a strong passion for IT.

What you’ll get in return for your talents

In return you can expect a basic salary up to £20k, a commission scheme, after a successful probation period of approximately 6 months you will be given a company car and the opportunity to progress into a field sales role. For consideration you’ll receive a laptop, phone, and health insurance. You’ll be training with a team who will work closely with you to help shape your development, whether you want to progress into more of a business development/sales manager or an IT guru.
