Due to expansion, we are on the hunt for a brand new Business Development Manager to join dependable, respected and proven IT Company based in South Bristol. You'll enjoy working within the successful IT team as and you’ll be the only sales person within the company, which offers you fast career progression to build a sales team beneath you. What you’ll be doing
This role is about creating interest in the products/services and to generate new business and arrange meetings with new clients within the South West. You will be in charge of sales, cold calling small-medium businesses and creating business across the board. Your job will be to identify and develop new business through networking and mainly understanding customer’s diverse, specific business needs and applying product knowledge to meet their needs. You'll work focusing on new business and maintaining relationships with your clients.
What experience you’ll need
Ideally you’ll have previous experience within a B2B sales role, if this has been gained within the IT/Technology sector the entire better, however most important are exceptional business development and account managing skills. Although the role is diverse with variety of attending appointments and cold calling, you'll still need a strong head for achieving objectives and working towards targets given by the managing director. You’ll also need to have strong communication skills with the confidence to connect with all small – medium businesses. The right candidate will need to have the ability to work well within a team as well as individually and finally a strong passion for IT.
