This role is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Business Development Manager to apply their trade within THE industry at the moment, software. This company target the school meal market catering to local authorities and caterers with their unique software offering which is already in 6000 schools covering the UK. 
What you’ll be doing
Give presentations to the senior management of prospective customers
Manage local authority tenders and close sometimes complex sales, negotiate with procurement managers
Plan and execute a strategy for growing our market share for our school kitchen management and meal selection products across the UK
Liaise with the ParentPay Group to coordinate sales strategy to maximise mutual benefit
Work with our National Account Manager to increase business from existing clients
Investigate new sales opportunities that leverage our core competencies
What experience you’ll need
You’ll have experience of pitching to decision makers
You are able to come up with a plan and effectively execute it
Be able to engage and communicate effectively with customers at all levels and be able to build relationships with senior managers
Demonstrate a genuine passion and track record for succeeding in software sales
Educated to degree level
Strong and proven numeracy and writing skills
Full driving licence
Experience in school catering, hospitality or education is an advantage 
Be prepared to travel 20,000 miles a year
