A Construction Materials supplier based in South Gloucestershire are looking for a Business Development Executive to join them in growing their first internal team. This is the start of their office-based Sales team that will be supporting their field-based staff, which offers so much future opportunity for the right candidate. You will also be part of a close-knit team environment that know how to work hard but also bring the fun out of every day, they even have a SLIDE from their canteen into their gym – which is free to use.
 
What you’ll be doing:
 
  • Using various sources such as LinkedIn to gather new lead opportunities. 
  • Working from the existing prospect database to convert appointments with potential clients. 
  • Contacting potential clients via telephone, email and social media platforms such as LinkedIn. 
  • Identifying clients’ needs to inform them of the most suitable equipment and packages. 
  • Booking qualified appointments for field-based staff to close deals. 
  • Taking and closing new sales via the telephone when required. 
What experience you’ll require:
 
  • Previous outbound B2B Sales/Appointment Booking experience. 
  • Background within the Construction/Machinery industry is desirable. 
  • Proven ability to speak to decision makers.

The successful candidate will receive a strong salary of £25,000 – 30,000 per annum in addition to an uncapped commission structure – giving unlimited opportunity to earn!
