Business Development Executive

We are working with a leading publisher who work in partnership with ambitious accountancy firms across the UK to deliver insight, strategies, websites and digital marketing campaigns. They are looking for a Business Development Executive with a genuine interest in digital marketing strategy, content marketing and website best practice to join a group of smart people who are fun to be around, who collaborate and support each other and get excited about delivering great results. 

What you'll be doing: 

  • Identifying new opportunities and proactively prospecting to identify a strong pipeline of new business.
  • Following up on inbound leads. 
  • Building strong personal relationship with new clients. 
  • Understand and demonstrate the value that the proposition provides to the clients. 
  • Build a clear understanding of the decision making process and key stakeholders for each new client.
  • Identify client needs and consult with them about the right prouct for them. 
  • Manage opportunities through the new business sales cycle. 
  • Ensure all activities are logged and opportunities updated. 
  • Manage your sales activity to meet all KPI's and revenue targets. 
  • Deepen your product and market knowledge. 

What experience you'll require: 

  • B2B sales. 
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build new relationships. 
  • A keen team player. 
  • Willingness to learn and develop. 
  • A high level of resilience and motivation. 
  • Strong objection handling and closing skills. 
  • An ability to work using your own initiative. 
  • Being comfortable with change, innovation and decision making. 
  • A willingness to travel (UK only) to carry out face to face meetings if required. 
  • A genuine interest in digital marketing stragey, content marketing and website best practice,
