Who you’ll be working for

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Client Senior Administrator to join a leading provider in wealth management services for investment advisers and their clients. My client is a specialist in pension wealth management, offering a high level of ongoing advisor support to their clients. 

What you’ll be doing 

You’ll be building customer relations, dealing with queries and requests from financial advisors, administrators, paraplanners and on occasions their clients.  You’ll also be continually focusing on delivering excellent customer service to ensure that the company is highly valued by our clients, managing and distributing team member workloads to ensure that distribution of work is appropriately split and ensuring new procedures are implemented and trained out to team members following new regulation laws and/ or changes to procedure required by management.You’ll also be accountable for the accuracy and completeness of business processing through the use of checklists and quality control spot checks, checking all work prepared by other administrators highlighting any areas of development and coaching where necessary. 

Key to this role will be ensuring all work items are processed within the relevant internal Service Level Agreement (SLA), following Risk & Compliance procedures by logging breaches, incidents and complaints and developing, implementing and consistently reviewing processes and their respective procedure guides and checklists.

The right candidate will also take ownership of more complex cases such as those for directors, other members with special benefits and cases where ‘surgery’ is required, meeting all Financial Authority Regulations and ensuring that the Treat Customers Fairly principles are adhered to, including raising any areas for concern with either line manager or compliance and managing risk effectively by informing your line manager if any incidents, “near misses” or exposure to their risk profile are identified.

What experience you’ll need 

You’ll need SIPP knowledge and Pensions administration experience, Drawdown knowledge and an understanding of Benefit Crystallisation Events and PCLS payments. Key to this role will be your excellent attention to detail, good academic record and the ability to work well individually and as part of a team.  You’ll also be PC literate, specifically Outlook and Excel, ability to work well under pressure, and to tight deadlines.

What you get in return for your talents 

In return for your talents you will receive a basic salary of £20k - £25k (depending on experience) plus the experience of working for such a well-established company.
